  1. Scriptorium Font Library
  2.  
  3.     The Scriptorium Font Library is a collection of fonts 
  4. designed by Dave Nalle of Ragnarok Games for use in their 
  5. publications.  These fonts have just been made available by 
  6. mailorder or as shareware from Ragnarok.
  7.     Provided here is an up to date listing of all the font disks 
  8. available at this time.  Each disk includes at least 10 fonts, 
  9. which are fully registered when you purchase the disk.

  11. SFL-1001: Font Sampler I
  12.     This disk includes 3 text fonts, 3 calligraphic fonts, 3 
  13. display fonts and 3 specialty fonts taken from our original 
  14. series of font disks.  It includes our very popular Taranis font as 
  15. well as the new FABLIAUX font, the medieval calligraphic fonts 
  16. Bastarda and Courthand, plus two fonts from the Ysgarth role-
  17. playing game and the uniquely mystical Goetic font based on 
  18. 18th century magical scripts.  $15.  Update $5.

  20. SFL-1002: Font Sampler II
  21.     This contains a new variety selection of fonts, including 
  22. text, display, decorative and calligraphic fonts taken mostly 
  23. from our second series of font disks.  $15.  Update $5.

  25. SFL-2001: Text Fonts
  26.     This contains 10 unique serif and sans-serif fonts which 
  27. meet the high resolution demands of all text uses.  The 
  28. collection includes some elegant traditional fonts (both serif 
  29. and sans-serif) like our Tancred and Palomides fonts, plus 
  30. some very unusual offerings like the Kelmscott font based on 
  31. William Morris' Troy font from the Kelmscott edition of 
  32. Chaucer's works.  $15.  Update $5.

  34. SFL-3001: Display Fonts
  35.     This disk features 10 attractive display fonts, including 
  36. several art nouveau and medieval styles, plus a couple of 
  37. unusual special use fonts.  Our favorites are the Starfield font, 
  38. which looks like a scattered field of stars, the Buccaneer font, 
  39. drawn from 17th century wanted posters and the Ariosto and 
  40. Elysian fonts based on hand drawn fonts of the Munich 
  41. Jugendstil movement of the 1890s.  Because these are display 
  42. fonts they may not all include both upper and lower case 
  43. letters, but they include all characters which are available and 
  44. we will expand the character sets as we continue to work with 
  45. them.  $15.  Update $5.

  47. SFL-3002: More Display Fonts
  48.     This disk features 10 new display fonts, including a 
  49. number of interesting renaissance styles, plus some early 
  50. modern book styles and decorative initials.  It will not be 
  51. available until the Spring of 1993.  $15.  Update $5.

  53. SFL-4001: Calligraphic Fonts
  54.     This disk includes a variety of calligraphic fonts, including 
  55. several Celtic-style fonts, fonts based on medieval and 
  56. renaissance calligraphy and calligraphy from several 19th 
  57. century art nouveau designers.   Because these are based on 
  58. genuine calligraphy they may not include all the characters you 
  59. may expect and may include specialty characters or strange 
  60. alternate forms for some letters.  $15.  Update $5.

  62. SFL-4002: More Calligraphic Fonts
  63.     This disk includes a variety of medieval English, French 
  64. and Italian lettering styles plus several Eastern European styles.  
  65. It will be available in the Spring of '93. $15.  Update $5.

  67. SFL-5001: Specialty Fonts
  68.     A collection of fonts for languages which don't use the 
  69. English alphabet, including both obscure real world and 
  70. historical languages and role-playing game world languages.  
  71. Check out the Coptic and Futhark fonts if you want something 
  72. really different.  Oh, and did you say you were going mad 
  73. because you couldn't decorate your computer-generated icons 
  74. without Church Slavonic?  Well, try Patriarch.  It reads in 
  75. English, but looks like Church Slavonic.  $15.  Update $5.

  77. SFL - 6001: Decorative Fonts
  78.     A special assortment of art fonts where each letter is a 
  79. decorative initial or small picture.  It includes several 
  80. illuminated manuscript alphabets, a set of Arthurian 
  81. miniatures, a collection of map decorations, a font of art 
  82. nouveau faces and some Art Nouveau floral motifs.  This disk is 
  83. not yet available, but it can be advance ordered for $15.

  85. UPDATE POLICY
  86.     Each of our font disks is updated with new versions at 
  87. least once every three months, with updates being released on 
  88. the first of January, April, July and October.  If you send in your 
  89. original disk and $5 we will update you with the latest versions 
  90. of all the fonts on that disk.  Most of our fonts are brand new, 
  91. so expect pretty substantial changes with some of the updates 
  92. over the next year or so.

  94. SHAREWARE NOTE
  95.     Support shareware.  If you see our disks being circulated 
  96. as unregistered copies (without our shareware notice), let us 
  97. know...or let the culprit know that you dont' approve.  These 
  98. fonts are too damned cheap for anyone NOT to pay their 
  99. shareware fee or order them on disk.
